Envoy: Iran Supports Regional Nations’ Resistance against US, Israel

The Islamic Republic supports resistance of the regional nations against the US and Israel, Iranian Ambassador to Damascus Ahmad Moussavi said, cautioning about enemies’ plots against Islam and Muslims.
The ambassador noted that the Islamic Republic supports resistance of regional nations against the US and Israel, and emphasized that “legitimate demands of people must be responded properly.”

Moussavi warned against plots hatched by the US as the main leader of the arrogant system to cause a split between Shiite and Sunni Muslims.

The enemy makes all-out efforts and uses its utmost capabilities to contemplate plots against Islam and Muslims, the Iranian diplomat said, adding, all its conspiracies are being thwarted.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has also repeatedly called on the worldwide Muslims to enhance unity and solidarity to defuse enemy plots.

In a last case, Ayatollah Khamenei said during an address to a group of Iranian officials, ambassadors of Muslim states and Iranian people in September that Muslim nations should get closer to each other day by day and move in line with unity because that’s the sole way of campaign against enemies of Islam.

The Leader said Muslim nations should be united in all issues relating to the Islamic World.

The Supreme Leader further said it would be wrong to believe enemies of Islam are friends to a group of Muslims and hostile to certain others because they oppose Islam in principle because the religion in core wants resistance against the bullying powers.
