Syrian Army foils terrorist infiltration attempt in northern Hama

Terrorist rebels of Jaysh Al-Izza launched a surprise attack against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in northern Hama on Saturday night.

Jaysh Al-Izza began the offensive on Saturday by storming the Syrian Arab Army’s positions at the Zaleen Checkpoint.

According to a military source in Hama, the Islamist rebels attempted to infiltrate the Syrian Arab Army’s positions at the Zaleen Checkpoint in order to plant mines and other explosives.

The Syrian Arab Army managed to foil the Islamist rebel attack and full secure the Zaleen Checkpoint after several hours of battle.
