“Endeavor for Islamic unity is a mission for all Muslims”

Grand Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani, met with Friday prayer leader of Larestan County in Fars Province, stressed necessity of friendly ties with Sunni community demanding all Muslims to boost their fraternal ties, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He highlighted importance of special care for the Sunni community saying,” In relations with the Sunni community maintain both jurisprudence and friendly ties because Muslim community is in dire demand of solidarity due to the present issues across Muslim world.”

Ayatollah Golpaygani referred to importance of seriousness in cultural issues and said,” If a disagreement is revealed then the percussions will plague all Muslims.” And added,” This is while any cooperation with the Sunni community will satisfy them and motivations for cooperation among them will grow and that will lead to disappointment of the enemies to achieve his hostile objectives.”
