An Israeli newspaper has discovered that the Kushner Foundation, run by the parents Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law, has donated tens of thousands of dollars towards projects in the illegal Jewish West Bank settlements.

A smaller donation was made to a settlement yeshiva that had been defunded by the Israeli government after it was found to be the base for extremist attacks on Palestinians and Israeli Security Forces, IB Times reported.

The investigation by Haaretz found that the Kushner Foundation had made multiple donations all around $5,000-$10,000 to organisations in hard-line settlements, the report continued.

This includes money to the Etzion Foundation which supports the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, and money to Shaare Zedek Medical Center, the Od Yosef Chai yeshiva in Yitzhar, a settlement known for extremist youths who attacked Palestinians and Israeli security forces, and to the Friends of the IDF, a US based organisation for soldiers in Israel’s defence force.
