“Expansion of Cooperation among Sovereign States Boosts World Peace”

images (37)Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that expansion of cooperation among independent states will benefit world peace and security.

During a joint press conference with his Ghanaian counterpart John Dramani Mahama, Ahmadinejad stated that Iran is ready to transfer experiences in various fields to Ghana.

“Ties between Iran and Ghana are very consolidated,” he said.

“Iran and Ghana are now cooperating and determined to expand cooperation to meet both sides’ interests,” the Iranian President added.

Addressing the western powers, Ahmadinejad stressed that Iran is not at odds with the western states, “but they seek to trample upon our wealth through military aggression.”

“The Iranian government and people have neither masterminded any plot against the US, nor have they targeted any western states,” he noted, stating that the Islamic Republic of Iran continues its drive for development despite mounting pressures being exerted by its enemies.

Since the western states imposed economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic, the country has managed to acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, and made a scientific breakthrough in the field of aerospace.

For his part, the Ghanaian president lauded the Iranian president and said Iran and Ghana try to promote relations in various fields, he said.
