Iran’s unmanned combat aircraft currently in the testing phase
An official has reported that the unmanned iteration of Iran's domestically developed stealth fighter jet, named "Qaher" (Conqueror), demonstrated promising capabilities during recent flight tests.

The Iran Aviation Industries Organization (IAIO), operating under the auspices of the nation’s Defense Ministry, provided an update on its aviation advancements through its managing director. This briefing took place alongside the 12th Iran International Aerospace Exhibition, known as Iran Airshow 2024, on Kish Island in the Persian Gulf.
General Afshin Khajefard announced that the domestically developed Qaher fighter jet has been transformed into an unmanned aircraft, a development achieved through the expertise of local specialists.
He stated that the unmanned variant of the Qaher warplane is presently in the flight testing phase and has yielded “promising results.”
In February 2013, Iran revealed its Qaher-313 fighter jet, a single-seat stealth aircraft engineered to operate from short runways.
The general announced strategic plans for the development of a range of jet trainers in Iran, aiming to attain self-sufficiency within this sector.
The Defense Ministry has identified the completion of the Armed Forces’ training fleet as a key priority, according to a statement from the department.
General Khajefard announced an initiative to develop a cutting-edge combat helicopter for the naval forces.
He announced that the combat helicopter, developed by domestic experts, is set to be unveiled shortly.
In recent years, Iran’s military specialists and technicians have achieved significant advancements in producing a wide array of domestically-made equipment, leading to greater self-sufficiency for the nation’s armed forces in the defense sector.
