44 countries apply for Islamic Republic of Iran’s oil fair

315 foreign companies from 44 countries have already placed bids for the upcoming international oil fair to be staged in Tehran in late April, the fair’s told IRIB Sunday.

Some 1255 companies from home and abroad have placed applications for the fair, showing a ten percent rise compared to previous edition of the fair, Ishaq Rouyvar said.

The fair is aimed to boost the capabilities of domestic producers in oil related fields, he added.

Foreign companies have set up their booths on an area of over 26,000 square meters, he said.

Companies from Austria, Spain, UAE, Britain, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, China, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, France, South Korea, Malaysia, Norway, Netherlands, India, Uzbekistan, Australia, Ukraine, Indonesia, USA, Brazil, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Romania, Zambia, Japan, Sudan, Iraq, Oman, Finland, Kazakhstan, Cameron, Canada, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Mongolia, Mexico, and Nigeria are present in the fair.
