Flag of Jihad, martyrdom carried by Palestinians for generations

Ambassador of Palestine to Tehran Salah Zawawi said Thursday that the Palestinian nation is carrying the flag of Jihad and Martyrdom for generations and ‘will always keep it flying.’
He made the remarks while speaking to IRNA exclusively on the eve of the International Quds Day which is commemorated annually on the last Friday of the Muslims holy month of Ramadan.

The International Quds Day was originally introduced by Father of the Islamic Revolution and The Late Leader Of Islamic Ummah And Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Rohollah Khomeini in 1979 to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and oppose the Zionist regime.

Zawawi urged world’s freedom-seekers and Muslims to massively turnout in the rallies to be staged on the occassion.

He also hailed the Iranian nation and government for their support for the oppressed people of Palestine.
