Foreign forces’ withdrawal, best solution for establishment of security

The Secretary of Afghan House of Representatives, Abdol-Sattar Khawassi has announced that the best way for maintaining security in Afghanistan is the withdrawal of all foreign forces from Afghanistan.

In an interview with Dari Radio of IRIB World Service, he referred to some news about continued presence of 10,000 US troopers beyond 2014 emphasizing that foreign forces must fully leave Afghanistan in order to establish security there.
He reiterated that despite the presence of US troops in the country for more than ten years now, no improvement has been observed concerning the living condition of the Afghan people.
He underlined that the US seeks to attain its major strategic goals in the region by taking advantage of Afghanistan but the Afghan people never allow the US and other foreign countries to use their country against the interests of other countries.
He underscored that the international community must enhance financial assistance to Afghanistan and strengthen the government there and allow the domestic problems to be resolved by the Afghans through dialogue.
