Former IRGC Head States War Against Zionist Regime Steadily Advancing with Strategic Prudence

Former chief of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Mohsen Rezaei, has stated that the conflict against the Zionist regime is advancing with careful planning and strategic management.

Rezaei stated on Iranian Radio and Television on Sunday that while some advocate for more vigorous actions, the key concern is the management of the ongoing conflict, which, he assured, is currently being handled effectively.

He asserted that the handling of this conflict has been conducted with intelligence and foresight, which should ultimately culminate in a resounding victory for the nation of Iran.

On Sunday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) initiated a new series of missile and drone attacks targeting the Zionist regime.

A fresh wave of the extensive military operation has commenced, marked by significant explosions echoing through occupied regions of Upper Galilee, Lower Galilee, Haifa, Afula, and Nazareth.

Alarm sirens have been activated in the occupied territories, prompting Israelis to seek refuge in shelters.

Soon after, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) initiated a subsequent wave of drone and missile strikes, directing their efforts towards Tel Aviv, Haifa, and southern regions of the disputed territories.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) initiated a two-phase retaliatory operation beginning Friday in response to a significant military attack by the Israeli regime, supported by the United States, on several sites within Iran. This aggressive action targeted nuclear facilities, military infrastructure, and residential areas in Tehran and other cities.

Rezaei has stated that measures of restraint are still being employed, and not all capabilities have been utilized to prevent global disorder. He cautioned, however, that there might soon come a time when new weaponry will be deployed.

He stated, “We are set to observe the real state of technological progress, particularly in the realm of nuclear advancement.”

Rezaei highlighted that Iran remains committed to steering clear of developing nuclear weapons, though he acknowledged that the future remains difficult to predict with absolute certainty.

Reflecting on the conflict between the Saddam regime and Iran from 1980 to 1988, Rezaei remarked, “It has been 35 years since the conclusion of the [Iraq] war, during which we have maintained complete security and peace following the Sacred Defense. Therefore, it is imperative to remain steadfast in this context to safeguard Iran’s security for the coming 50 years.”

He stated that there could come a time when significant actions are taken, potentially causing a major upheaval in the entire region.

It was disclosed that Iran has utilized missiles equipped with 1.5-ton warheads, with even more substantial warheads in its arsenal.

Rezaei has asserted that the United States and European nations should promptly extricate themselves from the conflict involving Israel. He warned that failing to do so would compel others to respond to their engagement in the war.
