French, British, Qatari and Turkish special forces inside Syria to terrorize

A senior Iraqi politician blamed the US and certain Arab regimes for providing logistical and financial support for the terrorist groups, including the al-Qaeda, which embark on deadly attacks against civilians in Syria and Iraq.

“A majority of the Al-Qaeda’s terrorist attacks on Iraq’s and Syria’s soils reveal the logistic and financial support of the US side and the Persian Gulf (Arab) states for the al-Qaeda,” Secretary-General of Naseri stream in Iraq Hussein al-Robai’ee told FNA on Wednesday.

He rejected the US claims on campaign against terrorism, and said, “Whatever is said about the US fight against the al-Qaeda is a curtain covering behind the stage where there is a strong coalition between the two sides to facilitate the US hegemony and support for the Zionist regime.”

Robai’ee reiterated that the US seeks to intensify its interference in the Arab and Muslim countries under the pretext of campaign against terrorism; this issue was seen ahead of the US pullout from Iraq, and Washington extended the domain of al-Qaeda’s terrorist attacks in the Arab country to justify its embassy’s meddling in Iraq’s internal affairs.

In relevant remarks yesterday, a Jordanian politician had also warned of the US plots to revive the al-Qaeda in the region, and said Washington seeks to dominate the regional countries by using terrorist groups.

“The US seeks to increase its military intervention and hegemony over the region by using the al-Qaeda in the Middle-East and changing conflicts to sectarian war,” Secretary-General of Jordan’s Democratic Party for People’s Unity Saeed Ziyab told FNA on Tuesday.

He described the presence of the US forces and its affiliated spy agencies in the region under the pretext of war on al-Qaeda as dangerous, and said, “Since long time ago, the US has forged excuses to justify its interference in the region, and relates these excuses to the humanitarian efforts or fight against terrorism.”

It is highly important for the US and the Zionist regime to give a fake identity to the regional conflicts to turn them into sectarian and religious wars to hit a blow at the revolutionary forces of the region and undermine their efforts, he added.

US alliance with terrorist groups has been acknowledged by other analysts as well.

Speaking to FNA, Director of the Arab and International Strategic Studies Center Qaleb Qandil said that Washington has freed hundreds of al-Qaeda prisoners in Iraq before withdrawing its forces from the war-torn country and infiltrated these terrorists into Syria to carry out attacks against the Syrian people.

He pointed to the recent terrorist bombings in Damascus that killed dozens of people, and stated, “The incident reminds us of those cases in which the US and its allies provoked the al-Qaeda elements in the region.”

Qandil stated that hundreds of al-Qaeda elements have penetrated into Syria through the country’s borders with Lebanon and Jordan and now Iraq.

Analysts believe that the US cannot launch an air strike on Syria similar to what happened in Libya due to various reasons, saying that Washington is fearful of a military intervention in Syria, yet they believe that the US will do its best to oust the Syrian rulers due to its numerous strategic interests.

“US President Barack Obama’s administration has been understandably wary of engaging in an air operation in Syria similar to the campaign in Libya, for three main reasons,” James P. Rubin said.

“Unlike the Libyan opposition forces, the Syrian rebels are not unified and do not hold territory. The Arab League has not called for outside military intervention as it did in Libya. And the Russians, the longtime patron of Syria, are staunchly opposed.”

That’s why working with “allies”, the Arab sheikdoms -Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey- “organizing, training and arming the Syrian rebel forces” has come to be Washington’s first move.

This “first step” has already been launched. It was implemented at the very outset of the insurgency in March 2012. The US and its allies have been actively supporting the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA) terrorists for over a year. The organization and training consisted of the deployment of Salafist and Al Qaeda affiliated terrorists, alongside the incursion of French, British, Qatari and Turkish special forces inside Syria. US-NATO sponsored mercenaries are recruited and trained in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
