Fresh Takfiri infighting leaves 40 terrorists dead in Syria

375177_Syria-militancyAt least 40 foreign-backed terrorists have been killed and dozens more injured in the latest round of infighting between anti-government terrorist groups in Syria.

Sources say deadly clashes have erupted between rival groups in the country’s troubled north.

The UK-based so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says the infighting occurred over the control of several villages in Aleppo Province between ISIL Takfiri terrorists and other militant groups.

The latest round of violent clashes ended with ISIL terrorists taking control of the villages near the border with Turkey.

Rival armed groups in Syria have killed hundreds of militants over the past few months.

Clashes between the militant groups still continue despite an order by al-Qaeda leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri, to stop the infighting.

The Syrian government says its troops are going ahead with their operations to drive the foreign-backed militants out of residential areas across the country.

Syria has been gripped by deadly violence since March 2011. According to some sources, more than 170,000 people have been killed and millions displaced due to the violence fueled by the foreign-backed militants.

According to reports, Western powers and their regional allies – especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey – are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.

Senior Syrian officials say the clout of supporters of terrorists operating inside Syria is in decline and that the Western sponsors of terrorists will lose their power.
