Gaza Tragedy: Terrorist ‘israeli’ Regime Aware of Child Victims, Says Grieving Family Member
The sibling of a doctor from Gaza, whose family suffered the devastating loss of nine children in an Israeli airstrike on their Khan Yunis residence, alleges that Israeli drones had an unobstructed view of the home and were aware that children were present prior to the attack.

According to Ali Al-Najjar’s statement to Press TV’s correspondent in Gaza, Hamdi Al-Najjar had just left his wife at the hospital and returned to his residence, where his children were visible playing in the yard. Al-Najjar indicated that the Israeli drones had a clear view of the scene and the children were unmistakably identifiable.
In the moments leading up to the tragic event, Ali recounted that his brother was in the midst of preparing a basic meal for the children, who had assembled on the ground floor of their residence.
“Moments before they could eat, an explosion was heard in their vicinity. In a bid to check on his brother, an immediate call was made, but contact could not be established. Upon reaching the location, it became clear that warplanes had targeted the area with two missiles,” he reported.
Ali recounted the harrowing experience of his sister-in-law, Dr. Alaa Al-Najjar, who was working at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis on Friday. As she was attending to children injured in Israeli airstrikes, she faced a devastating personal tragedy when the bodies of her own seven children started arriving at the hospital, one by one.
The tragic airstrike by Israeli forces resulted in the devastating loss of nine out of ten children from one family, as their home was leveled. Recovery efforts continue as the remains of two children have yet to be found.
Ali described the grim circumstances confronting Dr. Alaa Al-Najjar, recounting how the initial strike did not detonate. Tragically, as the father hurried to evacuate the children, a second missile hit, demolishing the structure and causing a fire that claimed the lives of the children and their father.
Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered the remains of seven charred, diminutive bodies, scarcely intact, as reported by an official.
Dr. Hamdi, who is a physician, sustained severe injuries and is currently in intensive care.
Ali stated that Gerya, the eldest child, was merely 12 years old, while the youngest, Sidor, born amidst this genocide, had not yet reached six months of age.
He stated that his brother’s children were tragically killed by the Israeli occupation, claiming their lives were lost in a brutal act before the eyes of the world.
He further called upon the international community to assist in the evacuation of his brother and his surviving 11-year-old son to receive critical medical treatment overseas.
