Nigeria starts probe to find 22 female abductees

f15794df61ef283d8aaa75ab091ab540_LAuthorities in Nigeria have launched an investigation to find 22 girls and young women kidnapped by suspected Boko Haram Takfiri militants in the northeastern part of the country.

According to Press TV citing reports, militants in military uniforms abducted the girls and women on Monday in a village near the town of Chibok, where they kidnapped a large group of schoolgirls in April.
Three villagers who tried to stop the kidnapping are also said to have been kidnapped.
Shetu Dikwa, a resident of the village said, the militants came on motorbikes and vehicles, carrying heavy weapons said, adding that they took away “girls and women who had borne two or three children.”
Dikwa noted, “They came in broad daylight and set ablaze the local secretariat and many houses.”
The abductees, who are reportedly aged between 15 and 30, have been taken to an unknown location in the remote stretch of Borno State, while there has been no contact from the kidnappers.
