Syria in Last 24 Hours: Army Wins Back 2 Strategic Towns in Hama Province

The Syrian army seized back two strategic towns in the province of Hama over the past 24 hours.

The army took control of al-Karim Qabr Fazeh and Al-Ramaleh towns in Sahl al-Qab region of Hama province.

Also in the past 24 hours, fierce clashes broke out between the two rival terrorist groups of al-Nusra Front and the ISIL in Hauz Yarmouk region in Southeastern Syria, resulting in the death of tens of militants, including an ISIL commander.

The two terrorist groups used different kinds of weapons during the clashes that erupted in Hauz Yarmouk region in Western Reef (countryside of) Daraa.

The clashes have left tens of terrorists dead and wounded until now with al-Nusra Front attempting to take control of Hauz Yarmouk district.

Assem al-Qadiri, an ISIL field commander, and a number of his forces are among the dead.

Meantime, infighting intensified among the Takfiri terrorist groups after their recent defeats in the Western side of Aleppo.

The bloody clashes erupted among Ansar al-Sharia coalition comprising 13 terrorist groups led by Al-Nusra Front after they failed to take control of the Western parts of Aleppo city which is currently under the Syrian army’s control.

Over 500 Takfiri terrorists have been killed in militants’ repeated raids on the Western parts of Aleppo city in the last two days.

Also, 35 members of two terrorist groups were killed in a Syrian army’s ambush operation in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside.

The operation was carried out as the terrorists tried to infiltrate Jobar region in Eastern Ghouta.

The Syrian army forces in cooperation with the popular forces surrounded the terrorists and attacked them in an ambush operation and killed 35 members of Jaish al-Islam and Filaq al-Rahman terrorist groups in a several-hour-long clashes.

Syria has been engulfed in civil war since March 2011. Damascus has been engaged in battles on multiple fronts, against the so-called moderate opposition and numerous extremist insurgent groups, including the ISIL militant group.
