Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces have vowed to defend the country with all its military might, stressing that enemies have lost motivation to launch an aggression against the Islamic Republic.
Iran’s Armed Forces have reached a level of military might that are able to defend the country in any circumstances and this is while enemies of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic establishment lack motivation to attack the Islamic Republic, read a statement by the Armed Forces on Saturday.
It added that the design and mass production of strategic equipment in Iran’s defense industry have cut the country’s dependence on foreigners and led to its self-sufficiency, IRNA reported.
The Armed Forces stated that it was like a “miracle” that the country succeeded to make great defense achievements under circumstances that sanctions are imposed on the Islamic Republic.
Unfair sanctions and repeated resolutions by enemies, particularly the US, during recent decades improved national self-reliance and brought about big progress, the statement added.
It noted that Iran’s Defense Ministry pursues important strategies such as updating systems and equipment and providing the Armed Forces with full support in order to defend the country.
The measures strengthened Iran’s defense and deterrent power, the statement said.
It emphasized that no power will be able to deter Iranian defense experts from meeting the country’s demands.
Meanwhile, a top commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said on Saturday that the IRGC forces will severely counter insecurity and instability in Iran’s border areas which will endanger regional security.
The IRGC will fight against insecurity in border regions with all its might to uproot terrorist groups and bandits, Colonel Hamid Ahmadi noted.
