Lebanese Prominent Sunni cleric backs Hezbollah

Prominent Sunni cleric in Sidon announced his support for Hezbollah Secretary General hailing measures by Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah for being in line with national interests.
Sheikh Maher Hamoud, Friday prayer leader of Quds Mosque in Sidon, referred to the latest speech by Seyyed Hassan Nasr Allah and stressed Hezbollah is pursuing national interests and not benefits of a particular group, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He called the recent speech by Seyyed Hassan Nasr Allah as perfect remarks in line with the latest events in Lebanon.

“Seyyed Hassan Nasr Allah’s view regarding Syria crisis is a correct one.” He said approving Hezbollah leader.

Lebanese Sunni cleric expressed concern that the approaches led by some other Lebanese movements will destroy the country and added,” Hezbollah Secretary General has stressed this point and calls their views in line with the interests of terrorists in Syria saying that foreign supports plus financial aid by Saudi Arabia aims at continuing Syria crisis.”
