Hamas calls for global pro-Palestine mobilization on Quds Day

The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has announced a worldwide mobilization set to take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, urging international solidarity with Gaza and al-Quds. This call to action comes in response to ongoing military operations by Israel, supported by the United States, which Hamas characterizes as a genocidal campaign against Palestinians, amid a backdrop of perceived global inaction.

In a statement, Hamas called for a heightened and sustained wave of protests and solidarity demonstrations in major urban centers and capitals globally.

In an appeal to the Palestinian populace, as well as the broader Arab, Islamic, and international communities, a call has been issued for mass mobilization on the forthcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This initiative aims to express solidarity with Gaza, al-Quds, and al-Aqsa, uphold the resilience of the Palestinian people, and denounce the perceived offenses and strategic measures undertaken by occupying forces against the land, its inhabitants, and sacred locations. Additionally, the call seeks to censure the United States for its support of these actions.

The movement underscored the urgent necessity for employing all available measures to lift the blockade, halt the violence, and address the humanitarian crisis of hunger in Gaza.

Hamas has urged the redirection of all efforts and resources to bolster support for Gaza, aid in its recovery, and enhance its resilience.

The organization issued a call for solidarity with al-Quds and Al-Aqsa, advocating for ongoing pressure and the revelation of the occupation’s actions, including the backing they receive from the United States. Their aim is to see an end to the aggression and alleged genocide against Palestinians.

Hamas has issued a call to Arab and Islamic leaders, urging them to assume their historic responsibilities in response to what it characterizes as egregious acts perpetrated by Israel against Palestinian territories.

Authorities are urged to implement decisive measures to bring an end to the ongoing conflict, lift the siege on Gaza, and bolster the resilience of the local population to remain on their land.

In a recent statement, preachers and scholars across the globe have been urged to designate Friday as an international day of solidarity with Palestine, Gaza, Jerusalem, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The initiative aims to bolster Palestinian resilience and advocate for the protection of their territories and sacred sites.

“Mass demonstrations, marches, and sit-in protests are set to persist in the coming days as participants demand an end to the aggression and call for the cessation of what they describe as massacres and genocide.”

Next Friday marks International Quds Day, an annual observance established by Ayatollah Seyyed Ruhollah Khomeini, the founding figure of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The event serves as a day of Muslim unity in support of the Palestinian cause.

Quds Day is commemorated in more than 80 nations worldwide, among them the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, and Greece.
