Great Satan US Threatens Lebanon: Without Normalization Deal, Israeli Attacks and Occupation Will Persist

The Speaker of the House has stated emphatically that Lebanon is unlikely to ever endorse the normalization of ties with Israel.

The Speaker of the House has stated that Lebanon is unlikely to ever endorse the normalization of ties with Israel, a position that mirrors the unified sentiment expressed during the recent trilateral presidential meeting at Baabda Palace.

Speaker Berri stated that Israel is attempting to engage Lebanon in a political negotiation process aimed at normalizing relations, a prospect he suggested is unlikely to occur.

According to sources familiar with the matter, it has been confirmed by Al-Manar that Speaker Nabih Berri’s statements are also endorsed by President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, underscoring Lebanon’s adherence to United Nations Resolution 1701.

Sources have indicated that the recent Israeli strikes on Lebanon are intended to coerce the country into entering a normalization agreement. This strategy, they assert, is part of broader efforts by the United States to exert pressure on Lebanon.

The United States has issued a clear warning to Lebanon, stating that, in the absence of political dialogue, Israeli military actions and territorial violations are set to persist. Additionally, there will be no withdrawal from the five occupied positions until discussions are initiated.

Sources emphasized that Lebanon dismissed the notion of political dialogue, insisting that only military delegations are authorized to tackle technical matters via the ceasefire monitoring committee.

The Israeli military conducted extensive operations on Saturday targeting areas in South Lebanon and the Bekaa region. This response came following reports of missile launches from South Lebanon aimed at Metula.
