NIOC: Iran Planning to Become Gasoil Exporter Soon

The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) announced that the ground is paved for the country to become one of the main suppliers of gasoil in the near future.

“Iran will soon be exporting this petroleum product (gasoil),” an official at the NIOC Mohsen Qamsari said.

Earlier this month, Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh announced that completion of a major oil refinery in the Southern parts of the country in March will make Iran an exporter of gasoline.

“Iran will turn to an exporter of gasoline once the Persian Gulf Star Refinery comes into stream,” Zanganeh said at the time.
