In a statement released on Monday evening, the Hamas Movement condemned what it described as a “horrific massacre” perpetrated by Israeli forces in Jabalia refugee camp and the northern Gaza Strip, arguing that such actions demonstrate Israel’s failure and inability to achieve its objectives.
Hamas has stated that the recent aggression serves as a testament to what they describe as Israel’s criminal and fascist tendencies.
The Movement has asserted that the continuous actions by Israel are being carried out with the explicit backing of the United States government and its President, Joe Biden. The Movement alleges that the U.S. administration has supplied Israel with weapons and ammunition, thereby facilitating these actions.
The statement further claimed that the policy pursued by Zionist-American interests seeks to perpetuate a campaign of genocide against the Palestinian population.
The Movement has issued an appeal for citizens across Arab and Islamic countries, as well as advocates of justice globally, to rally in protest against these actions and to demonstrate their support for the Palestinian population.
On Monday evening, Israeli military operations resulted in the deaths of 18 Palestinians and left several others wounded in an assault targeting a group of civilians near the Abu Obeida School in the Bir al-Naja region, located to the west of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
