Hamas Leader Resheq: Palestinian resistance is able to extract rights and liberate land

images_News_2013_05_28_resheq4_300_0Member of Hamas’s politburo Ezzat al-Resheq said the policy of repeated incursions carried out by Jewish extremists in Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards will not succeed in imposing a fait accompli or obliterating historical facts.

Rishq denounced in a press statement on Tuesday “the international silence and inaction regarding the settlement activity and Judaization projects to which the Palestinian land is being exposed.”

He also condemned the intentions to resume the “futile” negotiations with the occupation, especially in light of the ongoing attacks on the occupied city of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli forces and settlers.

“The best way to respond to the Zionist crimes is to adhere to the resistance, to end the division and to strengthen the steadfastness of our people,” the Hamas official stressed.

He asserted that “the Palestinian people and its resistance are able to extract the rights, to liberate the land and to achieve victory over the Zionist enemy.”

Rishq has also warned the occupation of the consequences of continuing to commit crimes and violations against the Palestinian prisoners; especially the sick captives, through its deliberate policy of medical neglect and the systematic torture, and stressed that such crimes will never be subject to statute of limitations.

He called on the human rights and humanitarian organizations and free people of the world to take urgent action to expose the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian prisoners and its violations of international conventions and to prosecute those responsible.

The Palestinian leader also pointed out that the report broadcasted by the Hebrew TV about the reality of detainees in Israeli jails is nothing but a desperate attempt to polish Israel’s ugly image and falsify the tragic reality of Palestinian captives.
