Hamas says Zionist Regime Conducting Ethnic Cleansing After Gaza Beach Incident

The Hamas Movement has denounced a lethal Israeli airstrike targeting a beach resort in Gaza City, labeling it as a calculated massacre and a component of a broader strategy of systematic ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian population.

The Hamas Movement has denounced a fatal Israeli airstrike on a beach resort in Gaza City, labeling it as a deliberate massacre and a component of a wider campaign aimed at systematic ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian populace.

On Monday evening, Israeli forces conducted an airstrike on the Al-Baqa Rest House located on Gaza’s western seafront, resulting in the deaths of at least 33 civilians, including women, children, and two journalists. The attack led to extensive devastation at the resort, which was filled with displaced families looking for shelter from the continuous attacks in the city’s eastern regions.

Among those who lost their lives were journalist Ismail Abu Hatab, along with Mustafa Abu Amira, Hisham Ayman Mansour, Hussam Mansour, and activist Omar Zeino. A female journalist was also reported among the casualties.

Hamas has condemned the attack, labeling it a “horrific massacre” and has accused the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) of intensifying their campaign by deliberately targeting civilians, which they describe as an act of genocide.

The Movement has issued a stark warning, suggesting that the continuous bombardment of residential areas, aid distribution sites, and shelters for displaced individuals indicates a deliberate strategy to eradicate the population of Gaza.

Hamas has issued a statement denouncing recent actions as “not random violence” but rather a “war crime and ethnic cleansing” being executed in plain sight globally. The statement further accuses Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of operating with impunity and desperation, following nearly two years of unsuccessful efforts to suppress Palestinian resistance.

Hamas has urged Arab and Islamic countries, along with individuals globally who value freedom, to swiftly and effectively intervene to stop what it describes as Israel’s genocidal conflict and to oppose the broader regional threat it represents.
