Hamas: The victory of al-Aqsa proves that Palestinian rights red line

The Hamas leader Sami Abu Zuhri said that “Winning the battle of al-Aqsa Mosque has proven that the rights of the Palestinian people are red line”.

“The Israeli occupation is the symbol of terrorism and the real enemy of the region”, Abu Zuhri added in a brief statement on Friday.

Israeli occupation authorities have bowed to the demands of thousands of Jerusalemite sit-inners and reopened all of al-Aqsa’s gates with no age restrictions imposed.

Thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayer today for the first time in two weeks after the Israeli forces had closed the gates of al-Aqsa Mosque before Muslim worshipers on July 14. The closure followed an anti-occupation attack carried out by three Palestinians and led to the death of two Israeli police members. The three attackers were killed as well.
