25 KG Explosive Planted by Saboteurs under Oil Pipeline in Homs Dismantled

Army engineering units dismantled on Tuesday morning an explosive device planted by saboteurs under a pipeline transporting crude oil to Homs refinery in Jdaidet al-Assi area west of Baba Amro neighborhood in Homs.

A military source told SANA’s correspondent in Homs that the device contained 25 kilograms of TNT and was rigged to explode by a remote trigger, pointing out that engineering personnel dismantled the device and secured the pipeline.

He added that the device was carefully prepared, camouflaged and placed in a manner to cause maximum damage to the pipeline, indicating to that the saboteurs who planted it are experienced.

On July 29, an armed terrorist group who are certainly financed and supported by U.S, zionist Israel and their regional allies attacked an oil pipeline in Telkalakh area, blowing a 15-meter hole in it and causing an oil spill.
