Hamas urges swift intervention to halt forced displacement and alleged ethnic cleansing in northern Gaza

The Hamas Movement has urged the international community to urgently intervene and halt what it describes as the Israeli occupation’s actions of forced displacement and ethnic cleansing, alongside daily assaults allegedly occurring in the northern Gaza Strip.

Hamas issued a statement on Tuesday accusing the Israeli military of persisting with efforts to execute the “General’s Plan” in northern Gaza. The statement alleges that Israeli forces are besieging educational and medical facilities, and committing acts of violence against displaced civilians, alongside conducting forced displacement operations, all under international scrutiny.

Hamas has asserted that the ongoing developments in Jabalia refugee camp, the Beit Lahiya project, and the broader North Gaza governorate represent a blatant breach of international laws and conventions. The organization alleges these actions have been facilitated by the silence of the international community and the complicity of the United States government.

Hamas has urged individuals globally to advocate and exert pressure on Israeli authorities, the United States, and Western nations to halt what it describes as the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
