Tehran Police Chief said: “there are necessary preparations for the election among security officials, and based on observations we do not anticipate any problems”
Gen. Esmail Ahmadi Moghadam during the fortieth day after the demise of Ayatollah Agha Mojtaba Tehrani talked about holding free elections and said; “the enemy has always been tried to induce the lack of ‘free election’, so they can announce to people that their vote was ineffective. They are trying to show that their presences are inconspicuous.”

He continued; “people are not listening to the enemy, and they showed that on the 22nd of Bahman. They are doing their own things.”

Ahmadi Moghadam reiterated that: “police will observe the situation, so they can identify and prevent insecurity, turmoil and possibility of intrigue during the election time.”
