Heavy Losses Inflicted upon Terrorists, Non-Syrians Killed in Lattakia

Units of the armed forces on Friday targeted gatherings and dens for armed terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in a number of villages in Lattakia province.

An official source told SANA reporter that the armed forces killed and injured a large number of terrorists in the villages of al-Qasab, al-Furunluq, al-Kouz, al-Mahabeh, al-Kabir, Beit Ibleq, al-Kindasiyeh, al-Sawdaa and al-Khadreh.

The terrorists’ equipment and weapons were destroyed, including missiles and heavy machineguns, according to the source.

The source added that several non-Syrian terrorists were identified among the dead, including Abo Mus’ab and Abo al-Samad from Libya, Abo Qutaida from Yemen and Nour Allah from Saudi Arabia.

Terrorists Mohammad Deeb Safwan al-Hassan, Hamid al-Sheikh, Hayan al-Seraj, Amer Karmo, Ahmad Hamameh, Munir al-Eitani, Samer al-Eitani, Ghayath Abo Shurouq, Tawfiq al-Kharfan, Fayez Awad al-Salim and Khalid al-Bitar.

Army Units Eliminate Terrorists in Damascus Countryside

Units of the armed forces carried out a series of special operations against terrorists gatherings in Harasta, Douma, Babyla and Daraya in Damascus Countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

An official source told SANA that an army unit killed a number of terrorists in the farms to the west of Damascus-Homs international road in Harasta area, including Obada Dahdouh and Noureddin Najjar leaders of two armed terrorist groups.

The source added that an engineering unit dismantled 5 explosive devices weighing between 25-30 Kg planted by terrorists in al-Rasas farms between Douma and Harasta.

In Masraba, another army unit killed a number of “Jabhat al-Nusra” terrorists, including Samir Abdullhai and Omar Sallam, leaders of two armed terrorist groups.

The source pointed out that another army unit pursued an armed terrorist group in Babyla town and killed several terrorists, including Firas al-Otawani and another terrorist called Abo Mahmud al-Sayyid, in addition to destroying their dens along with the weapons and ammunition inside them.

Meanwhile, other army units continued operations against terrorists and destroyed their dens and gatherings in Daraya, killing scores of terrorists.

Khalil al-Khatib, leader of an armed terrorist group, Alaa al-Jarida and Muhammad al-Hamshari were identified among the dead terrorists.

Several Terrorists Killed in Idleb

Meanwhile, the army units carried out several operations against terrorist groups in the countryside of Idleb province, which resulted in killing several of their members and destroying their weapons.

SANA reporter quoted an official source as saying that 6 snipers were killed and a number of terrorists’ gatherings were destroyed in special operations carried out at Binnesh crossroads and in the areas of al-Fou’eh, Maartamsarin, Talet Binnesh, Ein Martin and Saraqib.

The source added that the army units targeted terrorists’ dens in Jabal al-Arbaeen, Kfarrouma, Hass and Maaret al-Numan, killing and injuring many terrorists.

Terrorists Killed in Deir Ezzor

Units of the armed forces destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in al-Hamidieh and al-Sheikh Yasin neighborhoods and al-Mrei’yeh villagein Deir Ezzor, inflicting heavy losses upon them and destroying their equipment.

An official source told SAN reporter that an army unit destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in al-Hamidieh and al-Sheikh Yasin neighborhoods, killing and injuring several terrorists, including Mahmoud Khaled al-Issa, affiliated to the so-called “Suqour Ali Battalion.”

The source added that another army unit targeted terrorists’ gatherings in al-Mreiyeh village, inflicting heavy losses upon them and destroying their equipment.
