Hezbollah condemns Israel’s continued expansion in the Golan Heights and ongoing aggression towards Syrian military capacities

Late on Monday, Hezbollah released a statement condemning what it described as ongoing criminal acts by Israeli forces.

Hezbollah released a statement late Monday condemning what it described as the continual crimes by the Zionist forces on Syrian soil. The statement highlighted actions such as the occupation of more territory in the Golan Heights and the targeting of Syria’s defensive infrastructure as clear acts of aggression and flagrant breaches of Syrian sovereignty. Hezbollah further accused these actions of trying to destabilize Syria, underscoring its solidarity with the nation’s people.

The Resistance Party has asserted that the ongoing occupation of Syrian territories, coupled with persistent Israeli military actions against Lebanon and daily infractions as well as assaults on Gaza, presents an imminent threat to regional populations. This situation, they argue, underscores the shared path of these communities and the pressing need to reject and resist such aggression.

In a statement, officials expressed strong condemnation of recent attacks, cautioning against the repercussions should they persist. They urged the international community, particularly Arab and Islamic nations, to stand resolutely against such actions and to leverage all political and legal avenues to bring them to a halt. The officials dismissed the rationale provided by the adversary as unsubstantiated claims.

Hezbollah has asserted that any efforts by adversaries to seize new territories in Syria will not establish any legitimate rights, labeling such actions as a continuation of the occupation in the Golan Heights, ongoing since 1967.

Hezbollah has reaffirmed its unwavering support for Syria, emphasizing the critical importance of maintaining the country’s territorial and social cohesion.

On Monday, the Israeli air force conducted over 100 airstrikes targeting Syrian military airfields, as well as arms depots and manufacturing facilities.

The Israeli military has reportedly intensified its offensive in Syria, with Army Radio confirming that Israeli fighter jets launched strikes on over 100 locations within Syrian territory in recent hours. Meanwhile, various media outlets have reported that these air raids resulted in the destruction of Syrian naval vessels docked at the port of Latakia.
