Hezbollah Declares Gaza Resistance as Sole Strategy to Undermine Israeli Forces

Hezbollah’s Palestinian Relations Officer, former Member of Parliament Hassan Hoballah, released a statement commending “the heroic and exceptional operation conducted by Palestinian resistance fighters in Khan Yunis, highlighting their creativity and professional military planning.”

The operation led to the destruction of an Israeli armored personnel carrier and the death of seven Israeli soldiers, delivering a significant setback to the Israeli forces, as stated by Hoballah. He emphasized that the Palestinian resistance continues to exhibit presence, innovation, strength, and bravery.

The strikes are a consequence of what has been described as massacres, genocide, and ongoing systematic destruction carried out by Zionist forces against the Palestinian population over the past twenty months. This occurs amidst the ongoing silence and perceived inaction of the international community, which is seen as providing only rhetoric without tangible support for Gaza and its residents.

This challenging operation by the weakened adversary, along with other distinct initiatives, underscores the determination of Palestinian resistance forces. According to Hoballah, these fighters are armed solely with their faith, determination, and physical presence in the face of a heavily armed Zionist military apparatus.

“In all manners of combat and devastation, a message is delivered to the occupying force and its military, which prides itself on its might, indicating that its dreams of eradicating the Palestinian resistance will be laid to rest beneath the sands of Gaza.”

A Hezbollah representative has conveyed the Party’s utmost commendations to the protagonists of Khan Younis and all resistance fighters in the resilient Gaza Strip. The official affirmed that these actions consistently demonstrate that the path of resistance remains the sole effective strategy for countering and subduing the occupying forces.

The statement urges the Arab and Islamic communities, along with supporters worldwide, to rally behind the Palestinian cause in their struggle for rights and territorial integrity. The call emphasizes the importance of vocal opposition to the ongoing violence, framing it as a collective battle for national pride and global dignity, rather than solely a Palestinian issue.

Seven soldiers from the Israeli forces, among them an officer, were killed on Tuesday afternoon in a lethal ambush by Palestinian Resistance fighters in Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip. The Israeli military confirmed the fatalities on Wednesday, indicating that the incident took place during ongoing operations in the region.
