Hezbollah denies involvement in the recent rocket attack originating from southern Lebanon

Following reports from Israeli authorities regarding the firing of five rockets towards territories under Israeli control on Saturday, the Hezbollah resistance movement has officially denied any involvement in the attack.

On Saturday afternoon, Hezbollah issued a statement refuting any involvement in the rocket attacks launched from southern Lebanon towards the occupied Palestinian territories, as reported by Al Manar TV’s English website.

The Lebanese resistance movement has reaffirmed its commitment to the existing ceasefire agreement, expressing steadfast support for the Lebanese government’s efforts to address what it describes as an escalating Zionist threat to Lebanon.

Hezbollah issued a statement alleging that Israel’s assertions are intended to rationalize the ongoing assaults on Lebanon, which, according to the group, have persisted despite the announcement of a ceasefire.

In response to the alleged firing of five rockets from southern Lebanon that were reportedly intercepted, Israeli forces conducted a series of airstrikes in the region.

According to a report from Al-Manar correspondent in Lebanon, an Israeli strike on the southern town of Touline resulted in the deaths of two citizens and left three others injured.

According to a report by Al-Manar, Israeli forces carried out approximately 20 airstrikes targeting towns in southern Lebanon.
