Hezbollah leader addresses fighters, calling them the pride that challenges the foundations of Zionism

The Secretary General of Hezbollah has penned a letter to the fighters of the Lebanese resistance movement, commending their steadfast and valiant resistance against the Israeli regime and its allies.

In a letter dated Wednesday, Hezbollah’s top official, Sheikh Naim Qassem, issued a response to correspondence he received from the organization’s fighters, which had been sent to him on the preceding Saturday.

In a letter, Sheikh Qassem described the group as a formidable force challenging the very core principles of Zionism.

He stated that the strength of your resistance bolsters our resolve and leads to our triumph with the defeat of our adversary.

The leader of Hezbollah praised the fighters for their unwavering commitment to “liberating al-Quds and our occupied land,” highlighting their steadfast resolve to free the holy city and other occupied territories from Israeli control.

Sheikh Qassem declared that forces are confronting adversaries with determination and successfully repelling them, stating, “You embody strength against arrogance and oppression.”

He remarked on how the group’s members had “braved the brink of death” while steadfastly continuing their resistance.

Hezbollah has mounted a robust defense in response to intensified Israeli military actions since October 2023. This ongoing conflict has resulted in the deaths of at least 3,360 individuals, including women and children.

The retaliatory measures have included numerous successful operations targeting the occupied Palestinian territories and Israeli forces attempting to progress into regions of southern Lebanon.

Earlier today, the organization reported that in a retaliatory action, over 100 Israeli military personnel were killed and more than 1,000 others were injured.

In the past 48 hours, six Israeli soldiers have been reported killed by the group, adding to the overall fatalities.

Hezbollah forces executed a strategic ambush on the Israeli military’s Golani Brigade 51st Battalion, resulting in fatalities in the southwestern region of Lebanon.

At 10:00 AM, Israeli forces reportedly entered a building where Hezbollah combatants were positioned. According to the group’s statement, upon the forces’ entry, four Hezbollah fighters emerged from a nearby tunnel and initiated gunfire.

“The statement further noted that resistance fighters received extensive support from anti-tank artillery, actively engaging their targets from multiple directions for a continuous three-hour period until 1:00 PM.”

In a series of retaliatory actions, the group has successfully destroyed over 43 of the regime’s sophisticated Merkava tanks, as well as more than eight military bulldozers. Additionally, several armored vehicles, personnel carriers, and Hummer vehicles have been demolished according to recent reports.

The movement has successfully neutralized over six of the regime’s advanced Hermes drones, according to reports.
