Syria- 50 Thousand Residential Units to be Constructed around Country Soon

Prime Minister Adel Safar on Thursday chaired a meeting to discuss the required mechanisms to launch housing projects in all provinces.

In view of discussing issues related to identifying the available lands for the projects, the funding, the schedule, the technical specifications and prices, it was decided to build 50 thousand residential units spread throughout the country as a first stage.

Ministers of Local Administration, Finance, Housing and Construction and Minister of State, Secretary-General of the Cabinet, Director-General of the General Organization for Housing and Director General of Regional Planning Commission attended the meeting.
