Hezbollah Mourns Sheikh Faysal Mawlawi

Hezbollah mourned on Monday the former Secretary General of the Islamic Jamaa in Lebanon Sheikh Faysal Mawlawi, who has passed away on Sunday following a long path full of Jihad.

In a statement it released, Hezbollah expressed its deep pain for the death of such a prominent Islamic figure. The Resistance party said the late Sheikh had played a special role in defending Islam and its causes and backed the Resistance and Jihad path through all possible means.

The statement hailed the late Sheikh as a Resistance leader as he was one of its main supporters at all stages without exception. It also hailed the role he had played to preserve the Islamic unity and defend it.

Hezbollah offered its condolences to the Islamic Jamaa leadership as well as to Sheikh Mawalawi’s family and brothers for the big loss. It stressed it would continue the path of preserving the Resistance and its Mujahedeen in Lebanon and Palestine, alongside consolidating the Islamic unity.
