Hezbollah MP: Victory in South Lebanon Achieved Through People’s, Military Efforts

On Sunday, Hasan Fadlallah, a member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc, commended the residents of southern Lebanon and the Lebanese Army. He emphasized that they achieved victory by standing firm against Israeli threats.

In a recent interview with Al-Manar from southern Lebanon, MP Fadlallah expressed that the tripartite alliance of the Army, the People, and the Resistance is being defined and established by actions on the ground, rather than solely through official ministerial statements.

He observed that Israel disregards international agreements and does not acknowledge the international community, which he accused of being complicit in supporting the occupation, particularly pointing to the United States as a key ally in this stance.

A significant triumph has been achieved today by the populace, with families of the fallen leading the charge. Their sacrifices and resilience in confronting the adversary underscore this noteworthy victory.

MP Fadlallah commended the Lebanese Army for its significant efforts in deploying units throughout border towns, countering Israel’s plans to maintain its presence in Lebanese territory despite the passing of the 60-day deadline for Israeli withdrawal on Sunday.

“We commend the commitment and determination of our soldiers, officers, and members of the national army who have been deployed wherever the populace has gathered. This represents the genuine essence of our mission.”
