Hezbollah rockets bombard entire northern region occupied by ‘israel’
Hezbollah launched its fifth barrage of rockets targeting Israeli military installations and settlements in northern Israel, in retaliation for strikes on residential areas in southern Beirut by Israeli forces.

The Lebanese resistance movement reported on Saturday morning that it had launched a series of Fadi-3 missiles targeting the Ramat David base, one of Israel’s primary airfields, located roughly 20 kilometers southeast of Haifa.
The operation was described as a measure “in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their courageous and honorable resistance front, in defense of Lebanon and its citizens. It was also framed as a response to the alleged barbaric Israeli violations against Lebanese cities, villages, and civilians.”
According to a report from Israel’s Ynet news website, Hezbollah deployed reconnaissance drones over the area of David Ramat, capturing images of critical locations. These included soldiers’ and officers’ residences, airplane routes, and the military command office before launching an attack on the targeted sites.
Ynet highlighted the strategic significance of Ramat David Airbase, home to three squadrons of cutting-edge F16 fighter jets. The report emphasized that all personnel stationed at the base are acutely aware of the potential threats facing both them and the surrounding regions.
According to Israeli security-focused website Walla, the town of Metula has been utterly devastated amid the intensifying conflict in the north and the escalation of Hezbollah’s missile activities. Walla reports that the only structure still intact in the town is a school.
A resident stated on the website that daily rocket attacks on the settlement had become routine. However, Friday’s events were extraordinary, as the impact of heavy Barkan rockets caused extensive destruction.
Last week, Walla reported that eight Falaq 2 missiles struck Metula, resulting in the destruction of at least 30 homes.
The Israeli military has implemented a stringent news blackout concerning the ongoing conflict on the northern front, restricting all information related to casualties and damage.
Analysts suggest that by obscuring its setbacks in the northern regions, Israel aims to boost settler morale and create an impression of ongoing military success.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Hezbollah announced that it had launched Fadi-1 rockets targeting the Kabri settlement in the Western Galilee, near the Mediterranean town of Nahariya.
Rocket alert sirens were triggered in numerous communities across the northern regions of the occupied territories. The alarms were also sounded in various areas of Haifa and throughout the Galilee region.
Israeli media sources have confirmed that Hezbollah fired approximately 75 rockets toward the occupied territories on Friday night.
According to Israeli military sources, approximately 30 rockets have been launched toward Safed. Local authorities report that at least two of these rockets struck the northern city, resulting in considerable damage.
A salvo of five rockets was launched from Lebanon toward the Jezreel Valley earlier today, triggering alarm sirens across multiple towns in the region. Additionally, Ynet reports that explosions have been heard in Tel Aviv.
Hebrew-language media outlets report that the northern regions are currently engulfed in tension due to Hezbollah’s recent operations. The media revealed that the entire northern front is being targeted by Lebanese missile fire. Additionally, officials in Haifa have expressed significant outrage toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet, condemning their aggressive policies.
Israel’s State Comptroller and Ombudsman, Matanyahu Englman, encountered a heated confrontation from Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav during a recent visit. Yahav sharply criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet for their apparent negligence, condemning them for not once probing into “the dire security situation” plaguing the city.
Englman highlights that the northern region severely lacks tailored economic and educational initiatives, as residents remain confined indoors and face ongoing hardships due to the persistent conflict.
On Friday, Israeli warplanes targeted and destroyed at least six residential buildings in the Haret Hreik neighborhood, situated in the densely populated Dahiyeh suburb of southern Beirut. The airstrikes resulted in the death of at least eight individuals and left approximately 80 others wounded.
The recent attacks are part of the regime’s intensified campaign against Lebanon, which has been in effect since October 7. This date marks the commencement of Tel Aviv’s aggressive military offensive targeting the Gaza Strip.
Since Monday, the situation has intensified, resulting in the tragic loss of over 700 lives nationwide.
