Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement reiterated its support for the oppressed nation of Bahrain.

The group issued a statement on Sunday, stressing that its supportive stance toward the Bahraini nation will never change, Al-Manar news network reported.

“We believe that Bahraini officials are committing a grave injustice to their nation, denying Bahrainis their fundamental right of political participation,” it said.

The group underlined that the nation of Bahrain is a unique nation that has been exercising patience in the past two years.

It said the nation of Bahrain is suffering from repression by the ruling regime, a regime that will never benefit from silencing the voice of the truth.

Hezbollah also criticized the media for failing to show the oppression against the noble nation of Bahrain.

Bahrain has been the scene of anti-regime protests since February 2011, and scores of people have been killed and hundreds more injured in the regime crackdown.
