Hezbollah, Syrian Army ambush Nusra in the western Qalamoun

The Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Mechanized Division and Hezbollah have been busy in the Qalamoun Mountains lately, as their forces have stepped up the intensity of their military operations against the jihadist rebels of Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group). On Thursday morning, the SAA’s 4th Division and Hezbollah carried out another powerful ambush near the Jaroud Rankous border-crossing into Lebanon, killing several jihadists from Jabhat Al-Nusra after they seen by scouts traveling through the makeshift roads in the western Qalamoun. The ambush carried out by Hezbollah and the Syrian Armed Forces is the second attack conducted against Jabhat Al-Nusra and their allies in the Qalamoun Mountains this week.
