Homs: Syrian Army Inflicts Heavy Casualties on ISIL

The ISIL suffered a heavy death toll and its military hardware sustained major damage after the Syrian soldiers stormed on their lines of defense near the ancient Assyrian town of Quaryatayn.

A report said on Monday that the Syrian army troops alongside the popular forces continued to smash the ISIL terrorists in the Eastern Homs province and pushed the militants back from more strongholds.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists left behind several dead and several more wounded members and fled their positions in al-Maqateh region in the Western part of the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur).
