Houthi Claims Iran Could Pressure ‘israel’ to Cease Aggression, Alter Dynamics
Yemen’s Ansarullah movement's chief emphasized Iran’s strong military reaction as the crucial element that compelled the Israeli regime to end its recent offensive following a 12-day conflict.
In a televised address on Thursday, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi highlighted Iran’s resilience, strategic preparedness, and readiness to respond decisively to threats, all without making concessions.
An Iranian official stated that the country’s approach during the 12-day conflict showcases a strategy deeply ingrained in divine guidance, emphasizing the preparation and mobilization of its armed forces. He added that despite intense psychological warfare and Western backing for Israel, Iran’s resolute response forced the Israeli side to cease its offensives.
He highlighted that Iran’s power stems from a blend of military readiness, public backing, and robust leadership, establishing a deterrent that rendered further Israeli aggression excessively costly.
One of the core strengths of Iran lies in its unwavering stance. The Iranian government did not capitulate or offer concessions; rather, they responded decisively to acts of aggression.
A key component of Iran’s power is attributed to its strategic decision to respond efficiently, a success stemming from well-prepared forces. Despite backing from the United States and Western allies, Israel was compelled to cease its offensive actions, he stated.
The Houthi movement has issued a stern warning, indicating that should hostilities recommence, Iran is prepared to retaliate with unprecedented strength and severity.
The leader of Ansarullah stated that Israel is unable to persist with its aggression towards Iran due to the significant costs incurred from its attacks.
The statement highlights the strategic measures that aim to safeguard the Muslim Ummah. It underscores the equation of strong military response, enhanced military capabilities, and extensive popular backing for the Armed Forces and leadership. These elements collectively serve as a deterrent against the adversarial actions of the Zionist entity, compelling it to cease hostilities.
On June 13, Israel initiated a military offensive against Iran, conducting targeted strikes that resulted in the assassination of high-ranking military commanders and prominent nuclear scientists. The operation also included attacks on nuclear and military facilities as well as residential regions.
The Iranian Armed Forces launched 22 waves of missile strikes under Operation True Promise III, aiming at various strategic locations within the Israeli-occupied territories.
In other parts of his speech, Houthi accused the Zionist adversary of continuing its genocidal actions against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, doing so blatantly in front of the global Muslim community.
He pointed out that the Israeli authorities are aggressively attacking refugee camps and school facilities housing displaced Palestinians.
The ongoing actions of the Israeli regime are being described as increasingly violent and destructive, particularly targeting children and women, which underscores allegations of a deeply entrenched aggressive nature. Observers argue that with each act of conflict, there appears to be an intensifying inclination towards violent measures.
Houthi declared that the actions of the Israeli forces in Gaza reveal their inherent characteristics of intense hostility, aggression, and brutality. He further criticized the Western backing of what he described as a criminal entity, highlighting it as a testament to their malevolent disposition.
The leader of Ansarullah criticized the ineffectiveness of international institutions in aiding Palestinians, stating that depending on these agencies is a significant error for the Muslim community.
The Muslim community holds the potential to adopt a resolute position; however, a considerable number appear passive and display vulnerability. Certain factions have gone so far as to collaborate with the Zionist opposition and are implicated in these actions.
“The scope of the offenses committed by the Zionist regime against Palestinians starkly highlights the truths about the adversary, its allies, and global bodies,” reportedly stated Houthi.
