Study Workshop on Martyr Motahhari held in Ankara

In a bid to introduce Martyr Morteza Motahhari’s books and thought to Iranian students in Turkey and encourage them to read his works IRI Cultural Attaché sponsored a Study week-long Workshop on him starting Ankara.
According to IRNA Cultural Desk, the Public Relations of the Culture and Islamic Communications Organization (CICO) reported that the scientific workshop is comprised of three faculty members of Tehran’s Imam Sadeq (P) University, who elaborate on the late professor’s viewpoints based on two of his books, namely ‘Spiritual Freedom’ and “Attraction and Detraction of Imam Ali – P’.
Professor Ali Sana’ie, in his introductory address at the workshop focused on the “systematic approach” of the late Professor Morteza Motahhari and its significance, arguing that focusing on details is contrary to such an approach.
He argued, “If a group of people would be side by side of one another and they would think together creatively, then we can say that they have adopted a systematic approach, which is the only possible comprehensive method.
Professor Ali-Asghar Khandan, too, said that one of Professor Motahhari’s privileges was his systematic approach in elaborating the Islamic issues, adding, “Professor Motahhari was a master in adopting a comprehensive systematic approach, and he was an anthropologist with a scientific systematic approach.”
Professor Meysam Latifi, too, elaborated on Maryr Motahhari’s book “Attraction and Detraction of Imam Ali – P”. He said, “The human beings are of three types; those who have no attraction and no detraction, those who have little attraction and greater detraction, those who have little attraction and greater detraction, and finally those with maximal attraction and maximal detraction.”
