Zionist Saudi Regime Concerned about Jeish Al-Islam and Other Terror Groups’ Heavy Defeats

Riyadh is showing deep concerns after Jeish al-Islam was forced by a series of devastating defeats to consent to the Syrian government plan to relocate its militants from Damascus to Idlib in Northwestern Syria, where the Saudi influence may faint and be replaced with Turkey as the new backer of the militant group.

“Relocation of Jeish Al-Islam to Idlib means that one of the most important terrorist groups will be transferred to a region controlled by al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board) and other Ankara-backed militants that would, in turn, entail infighting among different terrorist groups in Idlib,” an assessment by the Syrian army’s joint operation room mentioned, adding that such internal fighting would wear off the military capability of all the terrorist groups stationed in the Northwestern province.

Riyadh is profoundly worried that Jeish al-Islam steps outside its domain of control and be coaxed into obeying Ankara after their relocation to Idlib as Saudi Arabia and Turkey are experiencing tensions and political rivalries in the region.

Jeish al-Islam was forced to come into terms with the Syrian army over Eastern Ghouta recently.

The reports claim that the Syrian Army and Jeish al-Islam agreed to the terms of an agreement that would have the latter turn their heavy weapons into the government and Russian military.

The report further said according to the agreement, Jeish al-Islam will release prisoners in Douma, including those from the Syrian Army, hand over all their heavy weapons to the government, and give the government and army full access roads to Douma to take the wounded to local hospitals.

Also according to the agreement, the militants in Douma will decide whether they will go to Idlib, Dara’a, or stay in Eastern Ghouta to settle their cases with the state and receive amnesty.

Food staples and aid will enter Douma and a local police unit will be formed by civil leaders in the district, according to the agreement.

State Institutions will also start to work inside Douma after a “short period”. The basic services of water, electricity and sewage system will take priority.

Individual arms ownership will be organized within the existing laws administered by the State.

The report added that the Russians have mediated the terms between the two parties.
