Armenians Assault Law Enforcement in Russia’s Dagestan Region
An armed assault on police forces in Makhachkala, the capital of the Republic of Dagestan, was reported by local media sources on Monday.
In Makhachkala, an assault on a police unit by unidentified assailants led to the death of three police officers, according to a report from APA’s Russia bureau, referencing information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan, as reported by the Azerbaijani news outlet APA.
According to preliminary reports, a group of four armed assailants executed an assault on police personnel in Makhachkala. Two of the attackers were neutralized, while the remaining pair managed to flee the scene using a police vehicle.
