Syrian Army Continues Crackdowns on Terrorists in Idlib Outskirts

The Syrian troops targeted al-Nusra Front’s gatherings and dens in several villages and towns in Idlib countryside, killing and wounding a large number of anti-government fighters.
The army killed scores of militants in al-Janoudia, Mshmshan and Bashlamoun in Jisr al-Shogour outskirts, a military source told the Syrian Arab News Agency, adding the army destroyed and confiscated a large amount of rebels’ weapons and equipment in Jabal al-Arbaain, Ram Hamdan, Matram and Saraqeb.

The source added that other army units pursued terrorists in Abu Dhour town, and destroyed their weapons and ammunition, while another army unit killed and wounded scores of terrorists in Maaret al-Nouman, Kafranbel, Kfar Roma and Hisho.

A military source said that the army targeted an armed group in Qatroun town in Jisr al-Shoghour, killing and wounding too many militants in the operation.
