Ahmadinejad urges action on Israel

Speaking with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad by phone, Ahmadinejad has stressed the need for a stronger international response condemning Israeli brutality.

The Iranian president, on Thursday, also condemned the attack on the aid flotilla and said Monday’s assault proved that Israeli crimes did not just target the Palestinians.

He also said that the attack on the Freedom Flotilla was not an isolated case of Israeli attack on activists and the regimes’ history reflected a spate of such atrocities.

At least 20 people were killed and scores wounded in Israel’s early morning attack on the Gaza aid convoy in the international waters off the Mediterranean Sea.
