Instability in region serves Zionist regime

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast says divisions among regional countries serve the interests of the Zionist regime.

Mehmanparast said in an interview with Mehr News Agency on Monday “Divisions among regional countries or instability inside important and influential states in the region eventually serve the interests of the Zionist regime.”
Pointing to the wave of violence in Iraq, the Iranian official said “It seems that a secret movement in the region seeks to create tensions and ethnic and religious disputes inside regional countries… to destabilize the political climate of independent states.”
He added another parallel movement is also on the agenda to “incite divisions and conflicts among the regional countries.”
The Iranian official further advised those countries or political currents that are fueling sectarian conflicts in Iraq to avoid interfering in the internal affairs of regional countries and help establish stability and security in the region.
He added the Iraqi people and its political currents enjoy “political maturity” and are capable of addressing their internal problems and settling their differences through democratic means.
