Intense clashes erupt in Tulkarm as zionist bulldozers proceed with demolishing residences
Zionist forces have been involved in intense confrontations with Palestinian resistance fighters in the Tulkarm governorate of the occupied West Bank.

Reports from resistance fighters on Monday indicate that they successfully carried out an ambush on Israeli soldiers in the Tulkarm refugee camp, resulting in multiple casualties among the troops.
Earlier today, an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle at the entrance of the Nur Shams refugee camp, located within the Tulkarm governorate.
The Hamas group has announced that two members of its military wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, identified as Ihab Muhammad Atwi and Ramez Bassam Damiri, were killed in an Israeli assault.
Israeli bulldozers have razed critical infrastructure in the Tulkarm refugee camp, targeting roadways, residential buildings, and commercial properties in the neighborhoods of al-Balawna, al-Wakalah, and al-Madrasa.
Occupation forces reportedly coerced multiple families to evacuate their residences at gunpoint in the al-Mattar and Murabba’at Hannoun districts. Additionally, a property owned by the Shaheen family in the al-Wakalah neighborhood was set ablaze by the soldiers.
On Monday, Israeli military forces conducted a raid in the town of Qaffin, located within the Tulkarm governorate, and subsequently demolished a residence in the Jenin refugee camp.
The Palestinian presidency has issued a statement strongly condemning Israel’s escalation of military operations in the West Bank. The presidency warned that these intensified attacks are unlikely to enhance security and could, in fact, provoke further violence.
The attacks have reportedly resulted in extensive damage to infrastructure and civilian casualties, with reports confirming the deaths of 17 Palestinians in Jenin.
The presidency attributed the worsening situation in the West Bank’s cities, villages, and refugee camps to the actions of Israeli occupation authorities. It further asserted that these assaults on Palestinian individuals, land, and sacred sites would fail to provide security or stability for any party involved.
On January 21, the Israeli military, supported by armored vehicles and drones, initiated a series of strikes on Jenin.
The military forces of the occupying power have announced that their latest operation, named “Iron Wall,” is directed at targeting members of the Jenin Battalion.
Since October 2023, Israel has intensified its military operations against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, coinciding with its recent military campaign in the Gaza Strip.
Regime forces have reportedly killed over 800 Palestinians during confrontations in the West Bank involving Israeli forces and settlers.
