Bahrain opposition remains strong and focused – it is only the beginning –

The National Democratic Opposition Parties said in the final communiqué issued following Friday’s mass protest march marking over 1000 days on the Bahraini revolution, “The regime has no other choice but to respond to the people’s demands for freedom and democratic transition. The people of Bahrain look to build a state of justice and equality”.

The parties added, “The regime must not bet on regional changes and its circumvention and security solution. The pass 1000 days have proved that the people of Bahrain will not abandon their legitimate demands regardless of the repressive solutions the regime adopts. The people are willing to continue their struggle for democracy even if took more than another 1000 days”.

In this historical turning-point, the opposition parties call on the authority to respond positively to the initiatives they have proposed.
