Iran condemned the “largest child massacre” by Israel in Gaza with US support,
Iran has strongly denounced Israel for the mass deaths of Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip, characterizing these actions as a deliberate strategy of ethnic cleansing intended to eradicate Palestinian identity.

In a statement posted Tuesday on the platform X, previously known as Twitter, Esmaeil Baghaei, a former spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, strongly condemned what he described as the mass killing of hundreds of Palestinian children in a single day by the regime. Baghaei asserted that this incident marked the most severe child massacre since the 1948 Nakba, during which Israeli forces, supported by Western powers, displaced Palestinians from their homeland.
A spokesperson expressed profound concern, stating that the international community increasingly acknowledges that the systemic killing of children by the occupying regime is a deliberate policy. This strategy, they suggested, aims to carry out ethnic cleansing and the ‘colonial erasure’ of the Palestinian population, reflecting genocidal intentions.
The official criticized international organizations, such as the United Nations, for their lack of response to the deadly atrocities, denouncing their silence on the matter.
“The tragic deaths and reported mistreatment of Palestinian children have profoundly impacted the global conscience. The apparent lack of decisive action from the United Nations and related human rights organizations has been criticized as exacerbating these already grave concerns,” he stated.
Baghaei has accused the United States, along with its staunch ally Tel Aviv, the United Kingdom, and other Western supporters, of being complicit in facilitating the regime’s acts of violence and devastation.
In a recent statement, it was alleged that the Israeli government, bolstered by unyielding support from the United States, the United Kingdom, and select Western nations, as well as by the perceived passivity of the UN Security Council, is acting with a sense of impunity. The government is accused of continuing the commission of severe transgressions, including war crimes, crimes against humanity, and acts tantamount to genocide.
In light of reports that Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of at least 200 children in Gaza, UNICEF has verified these figures. His comments follow these developments, underscoring the grave humanitarian impact as reported.
The situation intensified after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the military operations against Gaza—which have increased since the regime resumed its offensive on the territory earlier this month—were “just beginning.”
Human rights organizations have persistently underscored the genocidal characteristics of the military’s violent actions, drawing attention to the intentional targeting of civilians, including women and children.
Baghaei emphasized the urgent need for global unity in addressing what he described as the greatest injustice of our era. He called for an end to the impunity surrounding egregious crimes against children and urged for accountability of the responsible regimes and their supporters for severe international offenses.
Since October 2023, the conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 50,000 Palestinians, with a significant portion comprising women and children, including numerous young individuals.
Despite widespread international criticism, the regime continues to receive robust military and diplomatic support from its Western allies, notably the United States. Washington has exercised its veto power on several United Nations resolutions advocating for a ceasefire, which the regime has indicated it would comply with.
Analysts have expressed concerns that Israel’s ongoing campaign appears not only aimed at subduing Palestinian resistance but also at the permanent displacement of the indigenous population from Palestinian territories. This strategy has drawn comparisons to the events of the Nakba.
