Turkish, Qatari and Emirati airplanes have transferred hundreds of Daesh Takfiri militants from Syria to Yemen following Russian airstrikes on the terrorists’ positions, the spokesman for the Syrian Armed Forces says.

Brigadier General Ali Mayhoub announced on Tuesday that two planes from Turkey, one from the United Arab Emirates and a fourth from Qatar transported 500 Daesh terrorists fleeing from the country to an airport in Yemen’s port city of Aden.

Russia launched its military operation against terrorists in Syria on September 30 upon a request from the Damascus government, shortly after the upper house of the Russian parliament gave President Vladimir Putin the mandate to use military force in the Arab country.
